Brand revamp
Building upon our new website, we've also rebranded! Out with the old and in with the new. Central to this brand transformation is our name, Tarabut, signifying 'interconnection' and encapsulating our vision for open banking in the MENA region. Seamless KSA
Our team recently participated in Seamless in Riyadh, where we engaged with forward-thinking fintechs and banks that are reshaping the financial landscape of the Kingdom.
We were thrilled to announce some exciting new partnerships during this event, beginning with SIMAH, Saudi Arabia's largest credit bureau. This strategic partnership will help streamline lending processes and bolster financial literacy in the region. We've also partnered with Loop, forwarding our commitment to driving innovation and propelling us towards a more inclusive economic landscape.
Product Updates
Merchant logos and category icons
We are excited to announce a significant upgrade to Categorisation in our continuous effort to enhance our product offering.
For every customer utilising our categorisation service or Connect, transactions will now come complete with Category Icons. This means transaction data will be organised and visually intuitive, allowing consumers to identify transaction categories quickly.
But that's not all – as part of the same initiative, we're migrating all merchants to have unique logos, meaning transactions will carry distinctive merchant logos, making it incredibly easy for consumers across the region to identify their spending accurately. Contact our sales team to learn more.
IBAN validation made even easier
We now offer a hassle-free solution for verifying account ownership. The ability to confirm whether an IBAN belongs to a specific identifier (National ID or Commercial Registration Number) without requiring customers to undergo an Open Banking consent journey simplifies the onboarding process significantly.
This streamlined method becomes invaluable in an industry where onboarding procedures are often lengthy by eliminating additional steps and minimising customer effort for a seamless experience. New and improved developer portal
We're thrilled to announce the launch of our brand-new developer portal, marking a significant milestone for Tarabut. In the past, we operated separate portals for Bahrain and KSA. Now, with our unified portal, businesses from both countries can seamlessly onboard with just one registration. This means no more managing separate logins – enabling a hassle-free experience.
Users can now effortlessly switch between Bahrain and KSA within the portal itself. This flexibility ensures a smooth transition for companies operating in both regions. Additionally, we've put security at the forefront by enabling users to manage their API client secrets directly from the portal. Users can generate, delete, or update client secrets on the fly.
